Dr. Field is a North Carolina licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2004, and has worked in private practice, as well as county, state, and federal government positions, including an internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, VA. Dr. Field has been a Professional Member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology since 2000, and is a member of the International Society for Neurofeedback & Research. Dr. Field provides assessment of ADHD / academic problems, traumatic brain injury, stroke and dementia, and other neurological and psychological issues. He has extensive experience as a Forensic Psychologist, and has testified in court as an expert witness in over 100 criminal trials and brain injury cases.
Sarah Baker, LCSW
Clinical Social Worker
Sarah Baker has been in the field of Social work for over 19 years. She received her BSW from Minnesota State, Mankato in 2002 and her MSW from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2008. She has worked in a variety of private and agency settings with children, adolescents, and adults. Sarah's primary focus has been with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and/or suffer from mood disorders and other various mental illnesses and personality disorders. She works with both the child and the caregiver(s) for a holistic approach to improve overall functioning. Sarah has worked with children and adolescents experiencing impulse control issues, poor/limited concentration, defiant behaviors, Autism spectrum disorder, depression, anxiety, attachment disorders, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Sarah uses an eclectic approach to treatment incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Family Centered Treatment, Solution Focused Therapy, multiple parent education strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and mindful practice.
